Plan the route once in FlightHub 2 and schedule it. Dock 3 launches, flies the route, lands and charges itself. Matrice 4TD carries a 640 × 512 thermal camera and an NIR light.

How it works
Matrice 4TD’s thermal camera picks up body heat, with live video to FlightHub 2. Add the DJI AS1 Speaker to talk to whoever is there (broadcast range up to 300 m) and the AL1 Spotlight to light them up (up to 100 m).

How it works

How it works
Matrice 4TD measures temperature from −40° to 320°F in high gain mode and up to 932°F in low gain mode, so a hot spot stands out. Fly it on a schedule, or let a heat or smoke sensor send it through Auto Dispatch.

How it works
Save a route and fly it before a storm and again after. DJI’s intelligent change detection compares periodic captures of the same area. Fly only within the aircraft’s weather limits: DJI rates Dock 3 IP56 and Matrice 4TD IP55.

With WindRise KJ-01, Dock 3 loads a drop box and flies flotation to the person in the water.
How KJ-01 works
KJ-01 is WindRise’s Emergency Auto-install Drop System for DJI Dock 3. Its module mounts on the rear of the Dock 3 cover without modifying the dock. One click in FlightHub 2, or a third-party platform on the DJI API, installs the drop box on the Matrice 4TD. The drone flies to the person and drops an auto-inflating lifebuoy, which inflates when it touches the water.
The drop box carries up to 500 g: a lifebuoy, emergency kit, smoke marker or other items. KJ-01 works alongside the DJI speaker and spotlight.

For crews on the dock
RESTUBE AUTOMATIC rescue buoys inflate on contact with water. Crews can keep them on the dock or the boat and throw them to a person in the water. They aren’t dropped from Matrice 4TD: RESTUBE lists drone deployment only for drones that lift 900 g or more.

WindRise KJ-01
Auto-installs a drop box with a lifebuoy from the dock.
Details
Mounts on the rear of the Dock 3 cover, non-destructive. Drop box up to 500 g: lifebuoy, emergency kit, smoke marker or other items. IP55; −20° to 50°C. Controlled from FlightHub 2 or a third-party platform on the DJI API.

DJI AL1 + AS1
Light up a slip. Talk to whoever is there.
Details
AL1 lights subjects up to 100 m, always-on or strobe, and follows the gimbal. AS1 broadcasts up to 300 m, 114 dB at 1 m, with live voice, recordings and text-to-speech. DJI lists both for Matrice 4TD/4D; both IP55. WindRise WR-01 can install and remove them from the dock remotely.

Which drone goes in the dock?
Matrice 4TD, for thermal at night. Dock 3 works with Matrice 4D and 4TD only.
Can our alarms launch it?
Yes. FlightHub 2 Auto Dispatch can take alerts from alarm or sensor systems. We confirm what yours can send during the site survey.
Can it drop a lifebuoy?
With WindRise KJ-01, yes. The dock installs a drop box with an auto-inflating lifebuoy on the Matrice 4TD, per WindRise. See KJ-01.
Can it fly over the water at night?
Matrice 4TD has a thermal camera and an NIR light, and the AL1 Spotlight can be added. Plan on a Part 107 remote pilot, and FAA approval for flights beyond visual line of sight. See waivers.
How does it handle weather?
DJI rates Dock 3 IP56 (−22° to 122°F) and Matrice 4D/4TD IP55 (−4° to 122°F).
