    • Use a tracked service and insure the parcel for what is in it.

    Within 2 business days of check-in. If we don't fix it, you don't pay.

    What happens next
    • Your itemized estimate lists labor, parts and turnaround. Nothing is repaired until you approve it by email or phone. Agencies can approve with a PO number.
    • We repair it, update firmware, calibrate it and test-fly it, then do a final quality check.
    • Once the repair is done and paid for, it ships back by UPS with tracking, or it's ready for pickup.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. The estimate is free, and if we don't fix it, you don't pay. Nothing is repaired until you approve the estimate by email or phone.

How long does a repair take?

You get the estimate within 2 business days of check-in, and the turnaround comes with it, before you approve anything.

How do I track my repair?

You get a status update every week until it ships back. To check in any time, email Support@ohiodronerepair.com or call Repairs at 440-249-7266 with your ticket number.

Which carrier should I use?

We prefer UPS. Use a tracked service and insure the parcel for what is in it. Ohio Drone Repair is not responsible for packages lost or damaged on the way to us.

What should I leave out of the box?

Memory cards, batteries and propellers stay with you, and the thumb sticks come off the remote. Do not send batteries, including one installed in the aircraft. For an aircraft repair, send the remote too.

What do the prices on this page cover?

The flat rates are labor, by series. Parts are quoted separately in your itemized estimate. The typical costs by model come from past ODR repairs and include parts and labor. Your free estimate is the final word.

Is it covered by a warranty or protection plan?

We record your manufacturer warranty and protection plan status at check-in, so coverage you have is used. Some repairs go through the manufacturer's factory service, and we handle that for you.

Someone else already tried to fix it. Is that a problem?

No, but undoing a previous attempt is extra labor, $49–$99, and it shows on the estimate.

How does it come back?

Once the repair is done and paid for, it ships back by UPS to the address on your slip, in a new box that is custom fitted and reinforced. Outgoing shipments leave daily at 4 PM ET, and the tracking number goes to your email.

Do you warranty your repairs?

Can I get a loaner while mine is on the bench?

Your estimate can include a loaner or replacement option. If you take a loaner, its serial number and due date are logged on your ticket. Rentals run on ODR's written rental agreement and order form. Who can rent, rates and deposit: Coming soon

Can you service it before something breaks?

Yes. General service is a full inspection, firmware updates and calibrations, and a test flight by a technician: $99 for Matrice 4 and smaller, $250 for Matrice 30 and larger. Maintenance plans: Coming soon

We run a fleet. Can you help?

Yes. Every aircraft is logged at check-in with its serial number and intake photos. Approve repairs in writing with a signed estimate, an agency email or a PO number. Fleet maintenance on a schedule is quoted per fleet. See department kits and buying on a purchase order.
