Deliverables

What you get back

Digital twin

A model of the asset as it stands.

More

Point clouds, meshes or Gaussian splats you can measure, share and revisit.

Gaussian splats

Photoreal 3D you can walk through.

More

Created in XGRIDS LCC or DJI Terra and shared for review in a browser or app.

What is a Gaussian splat?

A photoreal 3D capture made of many small soft points. It looks like the real space and can be viewed interactively.

Splat or point cloud?

Point clouds are for measurement and BIM. Splats are for photoreal viewing. Many projects deliver both.

Which XGRIDS device should we start with?

PortalCam for fast photoreal spaces, Lixel L3 or L2 Pro for measured scans. We’ll match it to your work.

Can drone and handheld data be combined?

Yes, with enough overlap and shared control. Plan both captures together.

Is this good for listings?

Yes, and the same data can serve design teams, unlike photos alone.
